Opening this month on the 8th, and runnning until October the 15th is 'Inutilities'; a retrospective exhibition featuring the work of Belgian practice Architecten de Vylder Vinck Taillieur.
Taking place in Antwerp's Galerie Valerie Traan, a range of their work will be on display, including completed architectural projects, furniture and models - all exploring the connotation of words.
In fact, even the collection's title of 'Inutilities' is misleading...
"The imaginative creations represent the architect's fascination with designing for people and their individual interests. Visitors can witness works resulting from use of the terms 'steal, copy, forge, hacking, hostage, ruin, waste, graft', all playful twists on commonly used descriptive design language."
Sounds good to us, more info at Galerie Valerie Traan's site below...
